Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups of semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup of heavy cream
- 1 box of large marshmallows or mini marshmallows
- Graham crackers or cookies for dipping
- Mini marshmallows (for the ghost heads)
- Additional marshmallow ghosts (optional, for decoration)
- Chocolate chips or candies for eyes
- Sprinkles or Halloween-themed toppings (optional)
Instructions
- Begin by melting the chocolate chips with the heavy cream in a heatproof bowl over a double boiler or microwave until smooth. Stir well and set aside.
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Spread the melted chocolate evenly in a baking dish. Top with a generous layer of marshmallows, covering the chocolate completely.
- Place the dish in the oven and bake for about 10 minutes, or until the marshmallows are golden brown and puffed. Remove from oven and let cool slightly.
- Use mini marshmallows or large marshmallows to create ghost shapes on top of the dip. Add eyes and mouths using chocolate chips or candies for a spooky effect.
- Serve your Ghost S’mores Dip warm with graham crackers, cookies, or sliced fruits for dipping. Enjoy immediately or store covered in the fridge for later.
Notes
- For a vegan version, substitute vegan marshmallows and dairy-free chocolate.
- To prepare in advance, melt the chocolate and store it; assemble marshmallows just before baking.
- Decorate with edible glitter or sprinkles for extra festivity.
