Ingredients
- Pre-made pizza dough (or homemade if preferred)
- Tomato sauce or marinara sauce
- Shredded mozzarella cheese
- Black olives (for eyes)
- Pepperoni slices (optional, for extra flavor)
- Parmesan cheese (for finishing touches)
- Olive oil (for brushing crust)
- Flour (for rolling out dough)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly flour your work surface and roll out the pizza dough to about 1/4 inch thickness.
- Cut the dough into small circles using a cup or cookie cutter, approximately 3 inches in diameter.
- Place the dough circles on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush each with a little olive oil and spread a spoonful of tomato sauce on each, leaving a border.
- Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce generously.
- Use sliced black olives for eyes, placing one on each mini pizza. Add pepperoni slices or Parmesan cheese if desired.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes until the crust is crispy and golden.
- Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy your spooky mini ghost pizzas!
Notes
- For a gluten-free version, substitute the pizza dough with a gluten-free alternative.
- You can replace black olives with mini pepperoni slices, cherry tomatoes, or small cheese balls for different looks and flavors.
- Make ahead: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days. Reheat in oven at 350°F (175°C) for 5-7 minutes for best crispiness.
