Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 packet (2 1/4 teaspoons) active dry yeast
- 3/4 cup warm water
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- Your choice of toppings (pepperoni, vegetables, etc.)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until it becomes frothy.
- Mix in the olive oil, salt, and flour gradually until you form a dough.
- Transfer the dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes until it’s smooth and elastic.
- Form the dough into a ball, place it in a greased bowl, cover it with a clean cloth, and let it rise for about 1 hour in a warm place until it has doubled in size.
- Preheat your Stoke pizza oven.
- On a floured surface, stretch out the dough into your desired pizza shape and place it on your pizza peel.
- Spread a generous amount of pizza sauce on top, sprinkle with mozzarella cheese, and add your favorite toppings.
- Using the pizza peel, carefully slide the pizza into the hot Stove pizza oven and bake for about 6-8 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbling and the crust is golden brown.
Notes
- If you have leftovers, store uneaten pizza slices in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- Reheat in the Stoke pizza oven or an oven to maintain crispy crust quality.
- Serve with a side of garlic dipping sauce or a fresh salad for best results.
