- 1 box of white or yellow cake mix
- 1 pound fresh strawberries, sliced
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
- Optional: fresh mint or whipped cream for garnish
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract. Beat until smooth and creamy.
- Spread sliced strawberries evenly in the bottom of a greased baking dish. Mix some strawberries into the cream cheese mixture if desired.
- Sprinkle the cake mix evenly over the strawberries. Drizzle melted butter over the cake mix.
- Pour sweetened condensed milk evenly over the entire dish.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 40-45 minutes until bubbling and golden brown.
Notes
- Allow the cake to cool slightly before serving.
- Garnish with whipped cream or fresh mint.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- Reheat slices briefly in the microwave before serving.
