Ingredients
Scale
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Lemon wedges (for serving)
Instructions
- Pat chicken dry and season with salt, pepper, paprika, and thyme.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken for 5–6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through (165°F).
- Reduce heat to low, add butter and garlic, and simmer for 2 minutes until fragrant.
- Pour garlic butter over chicken and toss to coat. Garnish with parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
Notes
- For extra richness, add a splash of chicken broth or heavy cream to the butter sauce.
- Substitute chicken thighs with chicken breast — reduce cooking time to 4–5 minutes per side to avoid overcooking.
