Instructions
- Rinse sago pearls under cold water until the water runs clear.
- In a saucepan, bring water to a boil, then add sago pearls and simmer until translucent (12-15 minutes).
- Drain and rinse sago under cold water to stop cooking.
- Mix coconut milk, sugar, and salt in a bowl until dissolved.
- Fold in cooked sago and diced mangoes into the coconut mixture.
- Divide into serving cups, cover, and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
- Garnish with toasted coconut flakes before serving.
Notes
- Rinse sago thoroughly to remove excess starch.
- Adjust sugar according to mango sweetness.
- Allow the mix to chill for flavors to meld properly.
