- 4 burger buns
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup sliced pepperoni
- Fresh basil leaves

Instructions
- Form the ground beef into four equal patties, season with salt and pepper.
- Grill or cook patties in a skillet until desired doneness.
- Toast burger buns with a little olive oil until golden.
- Spread marinara sauce on the bottom bun, place cooked patty on top.
- Top with mozzarella cheese, pepperoni slices, and fresh basil leaves.
- Cover with the top bun and serve hot.
