- 1 box of white cake mix
- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 (8 oz) package of cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
- 1 cup powdered sugar (optional, for topping)
- Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish and set aside. Slice the strawberries and set aside.
- In a bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with sugar and vanilla extract until smooth. Spread evenly over the prepared baking dish.
- Layer sliced strawberries over the cream cheese mixture.
- Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the strawberries.
- Pour melted butter over the cake mix, covering the top evenly.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes or until the top is golden brown and bubbly. Cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Use fresh strawberries for best flavor; thaw and drain if using frozen.
- Adjust sweetness by adding more or less sugar or drizzle honey on top before baking.
- Add chopped nuts or coconut flakes over the top for added texture.
